MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

NEDCON MARITIME is recruiting MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR to be relocated abroad as a permanent employee to work in naval ship repairs

Required:
- Excellent knowledge in repairing, overhauling and troubleshooting different components of vessels (Different type of Thrusters and Gearboxes)
- Experience in same role in shipyards, marine onshore or offshore service with good Leadership skills
- Experience doing Laser alignment
- Experience with marine & power plant diesel engine and other auxiliary engine
- Good spoken and written English

Job Responsibility
- Perform inspection, installation, repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and overhaul of (Gearboxes and Thrusters)
- Communicate with superior and technicians for briefing of service-related works
- Prepare necessary service report, work instructions, risk assessment and checklist for all works
- Ensure all testing and monitoring equipment /instruments are always identified and maintained in good order
- Report and document the activities carried out in line with the ISO standards and company requirements
- Reading and interpreting drawings, manuals and code specifications
- Manage assign projects, job control, estimation, supervision, co-ordination of labor force etc.
- Liaise with customers and class, agents and other involved parties as well as with Company departments, sales staff etc. during repair projects from sales/enquiry stage through to completed project.
