NEDCON MARITIME IS RECURITING PURCHASE & LOGISTIC DEPARTMENT MANAGER LOCATION - FRANCE JOING DATE - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SALARY - 70.000 EUR/year 1.MISSION - Centralize all purchases necessary for the operation of the vessels, within budget and in coordination with the ship managers. - Place orders prepared by the General Services Department - On presentation of specifications for the services concerned, research of the materials and / or services required following vetting remarks or changes in regulations/methods of work, etc... Call for tenders - Ensure spare parts logistics - Facilitate the purchasing process for the dry dock 2.DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES - Control of all purchase requisitions - Analysis of the bids received. - Budget control before placing orders. - placing of orders. - search and selection of suppliers - Evaluation of existing suppliers - Technology and regulatory monitoring - Transmits applicable procedures (safety, environment, quality) to suppliers and subcontractors - - Needs assessment with the ship's board and managers. - Study of changing needs. - Study of material renewal according to specifications defined by the technical department. - Supply planning according to the ports of call. - Monitoring of deliveries: At logistic platforms; To the agents; On board - Contacts with agents and ship chandlers. - Manage at least one vessel in addition to the Manager's duties. Manage the vessels of the purchasers on leave. 3. PROFILE REQUIRED - A good knowledge of the maritime domain - Knowledge of purchasing, international trade, financial flows of the company, maritime techniques. - Negotiation skills - Rigorousness - Management skills Fluent English (read, written, spoken) Fluent communication with stakeholders 4. QUALIFICATION - Experience in international trade and logistics - Knowledge in AMOS Software 5. AUTONOMY & BUDGET - Signature authorization up to 15.000,00 € per order. - Management of ship budgets in common with the Vessel manager concerned. 6. DELEGATION AND STAND HIM FOR ABSENCEPartial delegation given to the members of the department the follow-up of price requests and the establishment of purchase orders. 7. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - Comply with the Quality Safety Environmental protection policy and the rules of the Management System and participate to its improvement. - Take into account the safety and environmental aspects in the choice of suppliers Implement and work in compliance with the Ethics & Compliance policy and Group principles in force. The duty is defined by the tasks listed above but is not limited to them.
